Nine New Acts to Complete
Vex 4 continues the fast stick-figure platforming series with nine main acts. Each act also has a harder version, giving experienced players nine tougher courses after the standard challenges.
Use A and D or the left and right arrows to run. Press W or the up arrow to jump. Use S or the down arrow to crouch, crawl, slide, or enter an act. Press R when a section needs an immediate restart.
The character can wall jump, swim, climb, and slide through narrow spaces. These moves help the player avoid spikes, blades, crushing objects, and unstable platforms.
Standard Acts and Hard Modes
The normal acts introduce each obstacle in a manageable way. Completing an act opens its harder form. Hard Mode uses tighter jumps and more dangerous trap arrangements. A route that works in the normal level may need better timing in the harder version.
Checkpoint flags save progress during an act. Touching a red flag activates it. The character returns there after hitting a trap or falling from the course.
Players should focus on reaching the next flag before trying to save time. The safer route helps reveal how every obstacle works.
The Expanding Challenge Room
Vex 4 also includes Vexation and the Challenge Room. Vexation offers a longer and more demanding test. The Challenge Room starts small and adds more sections as the player moves through its floors.
The Challenge Room tests how long the player can keep moving without making a serious mistake. Each new part can include a different mixture of jumps, walls, water, and traps.
Vex 4 rewards smooth movement. Holding a key for too long can ruin a landing. Short and controlled presses make it easier to stop near an edge or line up a wall jump.
The game offers clear progress for beginners and harder goals for skilled players. Complete the nine acts, enter their Hard Modes, and test every movement skill inside the extra challenges.
