Defend the Base from an Armoured Attack
Tank Wars puts the player inside a small battlefield filled with brick walls, trees, water, enemy vehicles, and a base that needs protection. The main goal stays clear during every mission. Destroy all hostile tanks before they reach and damage your base.
The game includes 120 battle levels and four difficulty settings. Players can fight alone or share the keyboard with a friend in the two-player mode. The changing maps place walls and open paths in different positions, so each level needs a fresh plan. Tank Wars also includes several enemy types with different movement and attack habits. Some rush toward the base. Others fire from safer positions or take more damage before they fall.
Driving and Firing
In single-player mode, use the arrow keys or W, A, S, and D to move the tank. Press the space bar to fire. During two-player mode, the first player uses W, A, S, and D with the space bar. The second player uses the arrow keys and the number-pad zero key.
The tank fires in the direction it faces. This means the player must turn toward an enemy before shooting. Walls can stop shells and provide cover. They can also trap the tank inside a narrow path.
Players should avoid firing near their own base. A careless shot can damage the structure they need to defend. Staying close to the base may feel safe, but it gives enemy tanks more time to surround the area.
Bonuses and Tougher Battles
Useful bonuses appear during combat. They can improve the player’s tank, protect the base, stop enemies, or change parts of the battlefield. Tank Wars also includes stronger mini-bosses that require several accurate shots.
A strong plan starts with removing the nearest attacker. After that, the player can move through the map and hunt the remaining tanks. Narrow spaces work well for surprise attacks because an enemy may have little room to avoid a shell.
Tank Wars combines simple controls with careful defence. Players need to watch the base, use walls for cover, collect useful bonuses, and avoid driving into a group of enemies without a safe exit.
