Bigger Courses and New Movement Tools
Vex 2 continues the stick-figure obstacle challenges with larger stages and more ways to travel. The game contains 11 main stages filled with water, wall-jumping areas, ropes, poles, cannons, zip-lines, and switches that change gravity.
The player uses the arrow keys or W, A, S, and D to move. Up or W makes the character jump. Down or S allows the stick figure to crouch, slide, or interact with some switches.
Vex 2 keeps the basic movement from the first game. Players still run past spikes and climb walls. The new objects make the routes less predictable.
Cannons, Ropes, and Changing Gravity
Cannons launch the character across wide spaces. The player must enter at the correct time and prepare for the landing area. Zip-lines carry the stick figure over gaps, while swinging poles help build enough movement for a distant jump.
Gravity switches can turn the whole challenge upside down. The ceiling becomes a floor, and familiar traps need a new approach. Players should look at the full area before activating a switch.
Water sections slow the character and require steady swimming. Staying below the surface for too long can also create trouble. A nearby wall or platform may offer a safe place to leave the water.
Earning Better Results
Vex 2 awards Bronze, Silver, or Gold results based on how quickly a stage is completed. A careful first run helps the player learn the path. Later attempts can focus on speed and cleaner movement.
The game also includes achievements for completing special tasks. These goals may ask the player to finish a stage safely or perform a certain action. A stage builder allows players to arrange platforms and traps into their own courses.
Vex 2 expands the series without changing its clear goal. Reach every checkpoint, understand each new tool, and find a safe route to the finish.
