Forgotten Dungeon 2 throws players into dark corridors filled with skeletons and zombies. Each victory grants experience points to fuel upgrades. You spend those points on power, speed, health, and magic to boost your attacks and durability.
You equip swords, maces, and bows to shape your fighting style. Helmets and shields boost your defense. A panel on the side shows your magic spells. Each cast drains mana to unleash a strong blow. Towns contain shops for restocking. After shopping you find yourself back at your last dungeon spot.
High level runs feel repetitive. You max health and mana. Each dive looks like the last. The save system feels strict. It kicks in only at dungeon entrance and exit. You cannot save anywhere else.
