About Money Movers 3
Alright, so then there’s Money Movers 3: Guard Duty! And this one, man, it flips the whole script right on its head. Remember those two brothers who were always escaping? Well, now you’re the one trying to stop ’em! You get to play as a prison guard, and you’ve even got your trusty dog sidekick with you. Your job this time is to round up all the inmates who’ve made a run for it and get some order back in the prison. Total role reversal from the other games, which is a pretty cool twist, I reckon.
So, the gameplay involves you having to switch between playing as the guard and controlling his dog, ’cause they both have different things they can do that you’ll need. The dog, being a good boy, can do things like scare prisoners out from their hiding spots – you know, bark ’em out! Then the guard can step in and slap the handcuffs on ’em. It’s this really cool dynamic between the two that makes you think about teamwork and strategy in a whole new light for the series, which keeps things fresh.
Money Movers 3 manages to keep all that puzzle-platformer goodness that the series is known for, but then it throws in these fresh new gameplay bits with the guard and dog duo. The levels are still engaging and make you think, and the cooperative play, even if you’re just playing solo and switching between them, makes it a really compelling part of the whole franchise. It definitely gives you a new and interesting perspective on all those prison break shenanigans, that’s for sure.
